School News
During next term both Miss Schneider and Yr. 5/6 will have a focus on developing their writing skills. This opportunity has been offered to a small group of school within the Archdiocese and we have been invited to be a part of the program. This is an exciting opportunity for Miss Schneider and the class – I am quite certain that they will produce some fantastic written pieces.
The project involves Miss Schneider and myself participating in activities and then bringing that learning to the class group.
This is a terrific learning opportunity for our school.
Term 3 will commence for the children on Tuesday July 23. On Monday July 22, all staff will be participating in professional learning related to Privacy Laws, Record Keeping and Well-being with colleagues from across our region. This staff development day will be held in Temora.
Video clips – we are currently looking for video clips that you might have of the children representing the school at any of the various events that we participate in, including sporting, dramatic or other events. Please forward the clips that you are able to share to Therese Clancy as soon as possible. These clips will be used in different activities here at school.

Library – now is a great time to have a look around at home and return any extra Library books – these could be under the bed, on the bookshelf, on the kitchen table or even in the “to read” pile.
We have more books coming – with Morris Gleitzman being a very popular author at present for our older children.
Children in Yr. 2/3/4 have been enjoying Paul Jennings, although some of his stories have been generating some strange gardening ideas….
K/1’s recent publication – Where is my tie? Is on display in the foyer of the office. This rather interesting take on where we find our school ties each morning may well be a useful read for parents.
Pyjama Day - the SRC Pyjama Day is on today. See below for a couple of snaps from around our classrooms.
