Our all-loving God bless those for whom today will be difficult, those who will have pain to bear, those visited by sorrow or tragedy, those who will have to make difficult decisions or perform difficult tasks.

Father, we pray for those who have dedicated their lives to caring for the sick and the wounded. Please bless their efforts as they minister to those in need. Give them the strength to continue. We acknowledge that we do not know the reasons for sickness and suffering - so we put ourselves in your hands. We trust you to do what is best for us and for our loved ones.

Lord Jesus

May we be your healing grace in the lives of others.
May our joy and peace be uplifting to all we meet. 
May we readily admit when the path becomes difficult.
May we join hands with our brothers and sisters in both good and bad times.
