As the calendar for Term 4 quickly fills up, it makes me very aware of how quickly the end of the year is going to come. Before we get lost in the ‘busyness’ of the end of the year, here is a prayer for peace, hope and joy. I like the image of God as the centring rock of our lives. 2020 has been a year filled with challenges and it is good to know that God is always there as a source of strength and support when times are difficult.

God of hope, who brought love into this world,
be the love that dwells between us.
God of hope, who brought peace into this world,
be the peace that dwells between us.
God of hope, who brought joy into this world,
be the joy that dwells between us.
God of hope, the rock we stand upon,
be the centre, the focus of our lives
always.
