New lessons,

New beginnings…

New beginnings can be so joyful. They give us all an opportunity to restart with a fresh and enthusiastic outlook on life. This is not just true for students who are embarking on the new school year. It can, and does, apply to each and every one of us. So, take this opportunity to make some changes in your life and embrace 2022 as a new beginning!

 Let us start our new year with a prayer attributed to St Teresa of Avila: 

May today there be peace within.
May you trust God that you are exactly where you are meant to be.
May you not forget the infinite possibilities that are born of faith.
May you use those gifts that you have received, and pass on the love that has been given to you.
May you be confident knowing you are a child of God.
Let this presence settle into your bones, and allow your soul the freedom to sing, dance, praise and love.
It is there for each and every one of us.

Change in mass times for Grenfell

Please be aware that mass times for St Joseph’s Church in Grenfell have changed. Beginning this Sunday, the 6^th of February, mass time makes a permanent change to 8 am. Also, the first and third Sundays will be Celebration of the Word with Holy Communion, not masses, as Father Jiss needs to serve the 3 parishes that make up the Young Mission without another priest to help him. Masses will continue on the  2^nd and 4^th Sundays each month at the new time of 8 am.
