Dear Parents and Carers, 

Together again

How wonderful it has been to see the joy on the children’s faces now that they are able to play together again! The staff and I have really enjoyed watching them interact, chatting and joining in games together, including during whole school fitness sessions. 

Last lot of RAT tests

From Monday 28 February, we moved to symptomatic testing. Tests are to be used at your discretion such as when your child is symptomatic or there are cases in their year group. Our school has provided each student and staff member with 8 tests per student. 5 tests were sent home in Wk 4 and the remaining 3 tests will go home with your child tomorrow. Beyond that, students and staff can access PCR tests or buy their own rapid antigen tests. 

Parents are now welcome on site regardless of vaccination status. So please feel free to pop in and say hello when dropping off or collecting your child.

We would love to see you at our weekly assemblies held on Friday at 2:40pm. 

New furniture

We were also very excited to receive delivery of our new furniture to go in the classrooms this week. This has included 6 tall cupboards and 4 low cupboards. Over the next few weeks, the staff will be working together to tidy up and make use of the new storage. How beautiful and organised our classrooms will be! Once we have everything ready, we plan to hold an open day for parents to come and visit and see the wonderful new learning spaces. 

Congratulations to our swimmers who competed in the Archdiocesan Swimming Carnival held at Queanbeyan.

Charlie swam a great 50m freestyle getting a personal best and placing 5th.

Saskia placed third in the 50m breaststroke event and battled hard in the 50m butterfly placing 2^nd.

India placed 4^th in the 50m freestyle event and swam her heart out to get a personal best and 1^st place in the 50m butterfly. Great swimming guys!
