Netball: St Joseph's have nominated a 3/4 and 5/6 team in the upcoming Schools Cup Netball Carnival, at Cowra. This is an optional event for boys and girls, it will take place on Tuesday, the 28th March. Private transport will be required. Further information regarding the carnival has been sent to parents of interested children via Compass.
Rugby Union: On Thursday, the 30th March, year 3-6 boys and girls have the opportunity to participate in the Southwest Slopes Primary School Rugby 10s. We will be combining with the Grenfell Public School to participate in the gala day. Details for this event have been sent via Compass for experienced players. Private transport will be required for this event. A draw will be forwarded once confirmed by organisers.
Mackillop Swimming: On Thursday, the 30th March our small school relay team consisting of Tayla S, Camilla M, Saskia M and India E, will be competing at Homebush. India will also be swimming in her individual event, 50m Butterfly. The girls should be proud of their achievements and we wish them luck!
School Athletics Carnival:
Tuesday, 4th April.
Students will attend school as per normal and walk together to and from the Henry Lawson High School.
K/1 will walk up with their class teacher at the later time of 11:30am.

1. (9.45 a.m.) Open 800m (x2) Fruit break
2. (10.00 a.m.) Rotation 1-Long Jump (Junior Girls), Shotput
(Jun/11/Sen Boys), Discus (11/Sen Girls)
3. (10.45 a.m.) Rotation 2- Long Jump 11/Sen Girls, Shotput
(Junior Girls), Discus (Jun/11/Sen Boys)
4. (11.30 a.m.) Recess
5. (11.45 a.m.) Novelty events concurrently with
Rotation 3-Long Jump (Jun/11/Sen Boys)
Shotput (11/Sen Girls), Discus (Junior Girls).
6. (12.30 p.m.) Age Races
7. (1.15 p.m.) Lunch Break (if time allows)
8. (1.45 p.m.) 200m Races
9. (2.15 p.m.) Relays
10. (2.30 p.m.) Presentations and return to school.
HIGH JUMP will be held at school next term during sport, Week 3, Thursday the 11th of May.
