Boorowa Touch and Netball Carnival:

Below are the details for the upcoming carnival. A compass event has been sent out to the parents of interested children in years 3-6. This year we will be entering a touch and netball team; students have already nominated their preferred sport and will be included in that team only. 

TRANSPORT: Private (Parent responsibility)


EVENT LOCATION: Boorowa Showground, Ballyryan Road Boorowa NSW 2586 

CARNIVAL Date: 20th October 2023 NEXT FRIDAY, WEEK 2


TIME OF ARRIVAL: Please note that all participating schools that attend this carnival will need to arrive at the venue by 8.30am as games commence at 9.00am and will conclude by 3.20pm.

WET WEATHER: Carnival will only be canceled in the event of a severe electrical storm or the unforeseeable closure of the playing fields and showground. If in doubt, tune into AM Radio 2LF (93.9FM), Wagga Wagga 2WG, Canberra ABC or Orange ABC.

SCORERS: Netball Scorers: will use clipboards assigned to each court. The scorers from both teams playing in a game must stand beside one another to record the scores, winning team please return score sheet to Netball Control. Touch Scoring: The scoring of touch games will not be recorded. If you wish for score sheets to keep track of your team, please see touch control on the day.

PARKING: Parking will be available free of charge in STRICTLY designated areas at the showground. Please advise if anyone requires Disabled Parking prior to the carnival. Please nose in around the Racetrack.


CATERING: Catering facilities will be available on site. Kiosks will be operating on the day at both netball and touch fields. A variety of hot and cold foods and drinks will be available. A menu list will be available on the websites closer to the event.

FIRST AID: Each participating school must have at least one teacher with first aid qualifications accompanying their own school students. Fully qualified First Aid personnel will be in attendance all day please contact either Netball or Touch Control for assistance or officials wearing vests.
