ANZAC DAY
This week the 5/6 class has been learning about World War 1 and we have completed some interesting activities as a class. We have baked Anzac biscuits and shared them with the whole school, researched fascinating facts about World War 1 and how soldiers survived, we made poppies in art, and worked together to complete a timeline of when the war started and why. We watched a great movie about Stubby the famous war dog, which we are happy to report survived the war.
Over the week we have learnt so many new facts about WW1 and why Anzac Day is important to us.
