News from Our Visit to the Henry Lawson High School
5/6 Henry Lawson High School Visit
On Wednesday afternoon the 5/6 class walked down to the highschool for a sports day. We were accompanied by the Grenfell Public School, Caragabal Primary School, Quandialla Primary School and a student from West Wyalong.
When we first arrived we had a yummy sausage sandwich made by the Year 10/11/12s. We then chatted to some friends from other schools as we waited. After everyone was finished eating we headed to the hall and were split into 2 groups. We rotated between 6 sports- soccer, league tag, golf, volleyball, slider hockey and ultimate frisbee. We did that for the afternoon, before packing up to head back to school to catch buses. As we were leaving some Year 12s gave us ice blocks for the walk back to school.
Everyone had a great afternoon. Special thanks goes to the Henry Lawson High School for inviting us and for organising a great get together.

Reminder
Don't forget the Annual St. Joseph's Primary School Athletics Carnival is scheduled for Wednesday 12th June. Rain washed us out last week, but I'm sure it was very welcomed from all the farmers out there. We will try again this Wednesday. Throughout the day we may possibly need a few helpers, so if you are available at an event we would love your help.
See you there with your enthusiasm and best sportsmanship, and in your house colours.
The Western Region Athletics Carnival will be on 28th of June for those students selected.
