Sacramental News

There will be an important meeting after mass on the 30^th of June for all parents of this year’s sacramental candidates. Parents must attend this meeting in order for their children to celebrate the sacraments.

All three sacraments will be celebrated in St Joseph’s parish this year. Candidates for Confirmation will be in Year 5 or above and will already have celebrated the sacraments of First Reconciliation and First Holy Communion.

Eligible candidates for First Reconciliation and First Communion will be in Year 4 or above.

This week we learned that Father Trenton is moving on to become the Administrator of St Christopher’s Cathedral in Canberra. Although our time with him has been short, we have thoroughly enjoyed his positive, outgoing nature and his thought provoking homilies. We wish him all the best in the challenges that lie ahead.

Father God, 
As we say farewell to Father Trenton we entrust him into your care. We pray for happiness and joy to be ahead of him, for wisdom and guidance to be beside him, and for grace and truth to be behind him, pushing him onwards into your goodness. We know that you will always love and protect him, wherever he goes.
