Dear Parents and Carers,
This week is Catholic Schools Week. Our enrolment period officially opens for 2023 across the Canberra Goulburn Archdiocese. More information of special events will be communicated to prospective new enrolments over the term. Catholic Schools Week is also an opportunity to celebrate what Catholic schools offer our students and families - places where we belong, believe and become.
Mother’s Day Pamper Party
A luxurious afternoon was enjoyed by our mothers, grandmothers, and special ladies at our Pamper Party and High Tea. Students spoilt their guests with massages and serving a delicious afternoon tea. I hope all our mothers enjoy their special day this Sunday!Volunteers
NAPLAN
The National Assessment Programme for Literacy and Numeracy commences next Tuesday 10th May for students in Year 3 and Year 5 and is open for ten days. NAPLAN is not about passing or failing but about assessing learning progress. Students in Year 3 and Year 5 are expected to be at school on time every day unless ill. Although the benefits and concerns surrounding NAPLAN are debated in the media, especially at this time of the year, it is important to have some form of national data collection process. However, please keep in mind that assessment is a regular and ongoing process at our school and NAPLAN is only one form of assessment that we do.

She will commence one day per week for five weeks (Tuesdays) and then complete a two-week block from the 6th to the 17th of June. Emmah will be observing and assisting in the classroom to begin with, before teaching some lessons herself. We look forward to working with Emmah during her time with us.
