Wisdom to Care for the Earth
Lord, grant us the wisdom to care for the earth and till it.
Help us to act now for the good of future generations and all your creatures.
Help us to become instruments of a new creation,
Founded on the covenant of your love.
This Friday, the Year 5/6 students will be presenting a prayer celebration that has been designed and put together by them. Their theme is ‘looking after our Earth’ and it comes from the Year 5/6 RE/Geography studies this term which are all about being aware of, and taking steps to improve, the sustainability and care of our Earth’s resources. You are most welcome to join us in the library for this prayer celebration which will take place at 1 pm. The other classes will also have their turn at presenting a whole school prayer celebration. The classes and times are listed below if you would like to join us.
