Dear parents and carers,
Thank you to everyone who joined us via the live stream for our open day last week. The children certainly enjoyed speaking with you about their learning for this term.
Already, some are planning for their next report to you about their work at school.
Thank you to those who choose to wear their uniform correctly, you look very smart! Please be aware that you can source the uniform through our uniform pool or the attached order form.
Uniform orders – an order form is attached to this newsletter. Please order now for term 4, summer will be here sooner then we expect. Return all orders by Friday September 4.
We have been reminded this week about the importance of maintaining a safe presence in the online world. Please check in with your children and update yourself as to the apps that they use regularly. This is a good way to check in around when children are accessing their devices, what activity they are participating in, and who they are conversing with.
Useful information for parents can be found on the ThinkUKnow website, at

Thank you to everyone for your patience and understanding regarding the updated health guidelines as provided by Health NSW last week. These protocols will remain in place at least until the end of this term. Reminder all families:
- If your child is unwell, they should not attend school.
- Please ensure that children who present with cold and flu like symptoms/covid-19 symptoms is tested. The results of tests are to be forwarded to school.
Should you have any questions in relation to our school and COVID-19, please feel free to contact our office.

I have included an invitation below for all women in our school community who wish to be a part of an online prayer/reflection afternoon this coming Saturday. 2020 has certainly offered us a few challenges, and listening, reflecting and praying with others can be an opportunity for a much-needed sense of renewal and hope.
All women are invited to participate in an Archdiocesan Women’s Reflection Afternoon which will be livestreamed to all corners of the Canberra Goulburn Archdiocese this Saturday 29th August from 2.00pm to 4:30pm. Tune in to hear inspiring talks and participate in short guided prayer experiences. Register for free at www.bit.ly/WomensReflectionAfternon

Children in years 2-6 have been presenting their speeches this week. Congratulations to everyone on your work, your public speaking skills are improving greatly, and your efforts have been terrific.
Year 1 have also been stretching their thinking in maths and are really challenging themselves with increasingly tricky questions.
