Wellbeing at St Joseph's School, Grenfell
At St Joseph’s, we are committed to building a safe, inclusive, and connected school community - one that values diversity and fosters positive, respectful relationships among students, staff, and families.
Our approach to student wellbeing is guided by the Australian Student Wellbeing Framework, ensuring that every student has the strongest possible foundation to reach their full potential in learning and in life.
We take a holistic approach to supporting students and their families, with a focus on strengthening engagement, belonging, and learning outcomes. Support may include learning interventions, emotional and social support, individual or small group sessions, counselling, and where appropriate, psychological assessments for students with specific needs.
Our Wellbeing Approach: CARE
We Connect, Assess, Respond, and Empower :
- Connect with teachers, staff, families, and external services to support students in a holistic and collaborative way.
- Assess the needs of each student to understand how we can best support them.
- Respond with appropriate strategies, supports, or referrals tailored to the student’s individual needs.
- Empower students with the skills, tools, and confidence to grow and thrive.
At St Joseph’s, student wellbeing is at the heart of everything we do—supporting each child to feel safe, valued, and ready to learn.
